KCL delivers 31 units of Terberg YT220 LNG Terminal Tractors
KCL is proud to announce the delivery of an order of 31 units of YT220 LNG Terbeg Terminal Tractors with Pusan Newport Co. Ltd (PNC) – a part of Dubai Ports World. These units were shipped to PNC late august 2023.
In order to meet PNC’s custom specifications and quality, we proceeded to conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with PNC’s internal experts that evaluate the tractors during and after the assembly process by verifying that it is built and operating in accordance with PNC’s design specifications. FAT ensures that the components and controls are working properly according to the functionality of the tractor itself. These tests were carried out over two days at Terberg Malaysia Assembly Plant in Johor Bahru. Upon completion of tests, PNC was happy with the results.
About the Vehicle:
The YT220 terminal tractor reduces carbon emissions as well maintenance costs compared to tractors running on diesel, thanks to the advantages of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG).
